Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is formal or black-tie optional attire.

Where are the ceremony and reception?

Our wedding ceremony and the reception will both be at Castello Monaci.

Will the ceremony be and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both will be outdoors. The ceremony will take place in the inner open courtyard of the Castello. There will be signs to guide the guests. Please note that the surface for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception is either grass,gravel or stone tiles.

What time is the ceremony at?

The ceremony will start at 5pm.

Are there accommodations available at the venue?

Unfortunately, accommodations will not be available at the venue. Castello Monaci only offers a few rooms which have been reserved for the bride and groom and their families.

Is there transport provided to the venue?

We have organized a bus which would take people from the center of Lecce and bring them to the venue. The bus will wait for guests at 2:45 PM close to Porta Napoli historical landmark in the center of Lecce. It will be parked on the main street Viale dell'Università next to the Obelisk monument (Obelisco di Terra d’Otranto) - Map. The bus will also be available to take people back to Lecce at the end of the night.

What will the weather be like?

The average temperature for May in Puglia is 19°C (67°F ). We expect the temperature during the day to be in the mid 20°s and to drop slightly below 20° at night.

Are kids welcome?

In order to ensure our friends and family can have a night of relaxation, we politely request to have a kid-free wedding. However, we also understand if you must take your kid with you- so please contact us to make the necessary arrangements.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them. However, please keep that to a minimum during the ceremony.

Are there amenities at the venue?

There is a pool at the venue which would be available. There is also a winery which the guests can tour and enjoy local wines.
